Today was a bit of a quiet day. Not much went on for the most part, and stayed home. However, the pain was a bit much, and pretty much tried to stay off of my feet as much as possible.
I did some chatting, and looking for a new ISP when I move since I am not so satisfied with Consolidated. In my search, I came across the possibility that Clear might be in Pittsburgh this year. Well, for the same price, I could get comparable uploads, and twice the claimed download speeds. For $15 more, I could get the same service, and I could get mobile broadband for if I should ever get a notebook.
And of course, a problem with iTunes. Not even to mention the fact that it’s bloatware because I am stuck with iPod as lack of money and the fact that all of the other MP3 manufacturers act as if they are afraid to do compete with Apple. However, some of my music will refuse to be recognized even though WMP and even a couple of other players recognize it. So, I have to find someone that has a CDRW (since my PC doesn’t have one), and make 12 audio CDs. This in my opinion is a bit ridiculous as Amazon should allow their customers to access the files they PURCHASED.
I did write about the hopes for Clear to come to Pittsburgh. I gave a realistic option (most likely the home only service), and a more unrealistic (home/mobile/VOIP). Simply put, there are cheaper VOIP without the need to buy an ATA. This post can be found at http://www.fsp.cc/1481/
So, as for plans for tomorrow, I will have to get some laundry done despite how I feel. I will also have to go to the main street to get bread, and of course get my music on an micro SD card, and find my USB adapter. I will go to Andie’s and burn the music files. This will probably consume much of my day.
