Today was a bit of a painfully busy day. I had a doctor’s appointment, grocery shopping, and had to deal with a couple of other things as well. I did have a stroke of luck, but not without cost. The best thing is that I managed to get another 3 character domain. Anyone who gets 3 character domains would know that getting one that makes sense for them, and available (not for sale at a high price tag) is nearly impossible. I had fsp.cc for a while, and was fortunate enough to get fsp.im last year for a very reasonable price. This was because the domain wasn’t registered. Well, the same went for when I bought fsp.tel earlier today.
Now, I also had a doctor’s appointment today, and in turn – I went to the UPS Store to get prices. Well, the small box which is what I would need is way too expensive. They want $51 for 3 months, $96 for 6 months, or $168 for 12 months. So, it would look as if I would have to get a PO Box. Since the one in Oakland is obviously not along the main street, and I am not sure where I would move too, I would be getting one in Downtown most likely. At least the one of 4 in Downtown would mean most likely one bus to there from where ever I might move too.
So, at my doctor’s appointment, it would seem as if they wanted me to give a urine test. This in my opinion is ridiculous. Everyone is noting this is now a requirement, but in my opinion, it is as if you are accusing your patients of doing something wrong without any reason. OK, I know they want to make sure you’re not mixing the pain medicine with illegal things like cocaine, or crystal meth, but shouldn’t there be a sense of reasonability? Needless to say, I urinated in a little cup as I am obviously not taking such, but it’s still the principal behind it. So, I now what have to be “accused” and pee in a cup every time? So, 2 hours and 100oz of water later, I managed to give them what they wanted. In turn, I went to the grocery store, and just made it on the bus in time with my transfer. In other words, 15 minutes longer, and I would have had to possibly spend more money in bus fare. I find this whole thing in my opinion as an insult to my integrity.
My brother stopped down for a few hours, and left. However, with all of the effort before, such as standing for ten minutes with a little cup to urinate a few times has taken a toll on me with my ankles. And just think, tomorrow – I am going to have to go out again. I still need to get a new address, and I want to do so before July. And why before July? I would be making new cards in July, and no point in having the 15213 address if I won’t be keeping it.
So, plans for tomorrow would include getting the new box hopefully, and Andie owes some money, so I am expecting it from her today as well. I will also have to pay a credit card bill due in a few days.
